Goth Cailløu is an alternative hip-hop artist from Minneapolis. Through years of playing basements and underground clubs in the Twin Cities, Goth Cailløu developed a sound entirely their own; a mixture of huge hip hop production, heartbroken ballads, and punk rock attitude. A massive fan of The Cure, Cailløu similarly treads in gloomy lows and romantic highs, and retains creative control through writing and producing all of their work.

Goth Cailløu is joined by producer Angel Saldana on their second release, "Alas, Poor Ghost", a lush maximalist breakup album. Angel, specializing in pop production, brings a sleek sound to Cailløu's sullen rock-crossover ruminations on loss.
